Getting to work with Katie and Chris for their engagement session in San Francisco and now their wedding in Austin has been a true honor. Chris was a roommate of mine during my first years after college, and he has watched me grow as an Austin wedding photographer. Katie has also been a friend throughout my college years, and on top of that, my wife was a bridesmaid! It’s been a joy to watch their relationship grow from a long distance relationship to where they are now.

The wedding started early in the morning with a tea ceremony at the Marriott Residence Inn, and lasted late into the night with laughter and dancing. Katie and Chris are clearly surrounded by so many friends and family who love them dearly, and it is clearly evident in their photos. The toasts were full of heart and I was trying to hold in my laughter countless times throughout the night!
