When choosing a place that was meaningful to them for their engagement photos, Sandra and Ryan chose to do it at OKRA Charity Saloon. This place represents their relationship in a large way since they enjoy going out, getting drinks, and socializing through food. Also, they just moved back to Houston after completing law school, and now they are about to start their new life as engaged couples in this city they grew up in. While exploring downtown Houston together, we all agreed it had changed so much in the past several years, and being in Houston as an adult is much more fun than being in Houston as a kid.

Fun fact 1: Sandra and Ryan went to high school together, but it wasn’t until law school that they became interested in each other! Fun fact 2: Sandra and Ryan went to the same high school as Wes Anderson. I learned this when I told them to channel their inner ‘Wes Anderson’ for a particular shot.
