McKinney Falls State Park Engagement Photos

The day before our session, I had contemplated trying to reschedule the session. There was a high chance of rain, and I wasn’t sure if Celina and Stu would have enjoyed getting soaking wet. After writing a draft email to them about rescheduling, I decided not to send it..because after all, it’s Texas, and rain forecasts don’t mean much here.

After meeting Celina and Stu on Saturday morning, I was so glad I didn’t send the email. The skies were grey, but it looked like it was going to hold up quite well. Celina works in the marketing department for the Austin Film Festival, and Stu works in sales with a software company here.  They’re such a fun couple. They enjoy outdoorsy things like going to state parks, camping, and hiking – I wish those were my hobbies.

I really enjoyed this session with them. Celina and Stu trusted me and ran with me in whatever direction I gave them, even at the end when it rained on us. I said, “We’re already soaking wet, so we might as well take some photos!” It was also my last session of the year, so I feel like I couldn’t have ended on a better note. Thank you Celina and Stu!
