Pat and Brit came all the way from Chicago to Austin for the weekend. Brit thought it was just to hang out, but Pat had bigger plans. After Pat contacted me, we decided on Mayfield Park as the proposal spot. It’s one of my favorite places for portraits in Austin, so I’m glad he chose it. Despite the drizzle and light rain, Pat got on a knee at the perfect time. Brit was overwhelmed with joy, and I love how you can just feel her happiness coming through the photos.

After the proposal took place, we took some portraits around the park. I learned that Pat and Brit met on the job at the pizza shop where they worked. Pat was tasked with training Brit, and he was pretty much swept away. 7 years later, here they are. Congratulations guys!
