Houston Arboretum Engagement Photos

Rui and Gail enjoy the outdoors, so the Houston Arboretum was a perfect location. When they’re not busy planning a wedding, you might find them hiking or camping somewhere across the country. Just a few days after our session, they were headed off to Big Bend with some friends from their church.

After the first part of our session at the Houston Arboretum, we headed off to Discovery Green. They had a red bike, and they reminded me of the story of how it fits into their relationship. One of Rui and Gails first encounters was when Rui lent a bike to Gail. After the exchange, she realized the bike was too big, and she even fell while riding the bike and almost broke her ankle. When Rui found out, he offered to drive her around that whole summer. You could say the bike played a pretty big role in bringing them together 🙂
