House Plantation Wedding Photos

John and Megan met in college at Vanderbilt and have since moved to Houston to settle down. During their engagement session at Common Bond Bakery, I learned that John and Megan are some of the most down to earth, fun, and easy going people I’ve ever met. Their wedding was exactly that – full of laughter, tears, and everything in between. Megan was ridiculously relaxed on the wedding day, probably because John helped tremendously with wedding planning.

Like most Texas weddings, there was a high chance of rain throughout the day. We took advantage of the dry moments, and with impeccable timing the sun peaked back out after the ceremony.

The toasts at the reception were my favorite part of the day, complete with hilarious college Gchat transcripts, hard core rapping from the sisters, knee-jerk reactions to it all. Thank you John and Megan for letting me be a part of your wedding!

These House Plantation Wedding Photos were taken by Day 7 Photography, an Austin Wedding Photographer available for travel throughout Texas and beyond. We create natural, candid, and organic wedding photos for the modern bride. DAY 7 is about slowing down and enjoying the world around us. I believe every wedding is a beautifully complex story filled with raw and authentic moments waiting to be captured. Taking on a limited number of weddings each year allows me to focus intensely on the detail of your unique wedding. I meet with every couple to determine how I can best fit your needs.
