Hacienda Del Lago Wedding Photos

Anthony’s a Texan, and Lisa is a Canadian, and they’re perfect for each other. Anthony shared a story about how he had to fight tooth and nail to get camo in the wedding, and Lisa finally gave in with the coozies for the drinks. In fact, there was a lot of Texas and a lot of Canada in this wedding, making it such a unique representation of them both.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Lisa shyly asked her dad how she looked in her wedding dress right after she first put it on. “You look beautiful,” he said with a smile, and tears filled her eyes. That was all it took, and it was such a beautiful scene. That look her dad gave Lisa after he first saw her stayed on his face the entire day, and the wedding was full of those simple yet beautiful moments that filled your eyes with tears.

Lisa and Anthony’s wedding was the first wedding I got to shoot after my own wedding. It was special because the feelings from my wedding were still fresh, and it was like reliving my wedding just 2 weeks earlier. When Anthony saw Lisa for the first time coming down the isle, he was also filled with tears and happiness, and I knew the feeling all too well of being overwhelmed with so much joy all at once.
