Wedding at Crystal Ballroom Houston

For this wedding at the Crystal Ballroom in Houston and St. Lawrence Catholic Church, the day was stunning from start to finish. When you have not one, but three pastors in your family, they all get to be a part of the ceremony. Alex and Lauren were blessed to have two family members take part in the ceremony at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Sugar Land, and I loved this special addition to the ceremony.

The morning of the wedding, it was pouring rain like a hurricane was passing through. Minutes before the ceremony began, the skies cleared and the rain completely stopped. After the ceremony, we headed towards downtown Houston to the Crystal Ballroom at the Rice. It is a beautiful venue full of history, and I loved getting to take portraits on the balcony. With downtown in the background, every angle looked majestic. Despite the Texas heat, we managed to do all our photos outside and still survive.

The reception was rocking all night since the Royal Dukes Band were jamming on stage. The day couldn’t have gone smoother thanks to the amazing team of vendors. Shout out to Fully Floral for the stunning flower arrangements, Sambuca for the amazing food, and the team at Crystal Ballroom for coordinating the night.
