Elizabeth and Darren are some of the most genuine people I have ever met. Their wedding was a perfect representation of them – full of urban/city flair and just the right amount of greens. When choosing their reception venue, CityPlace Events was an immediate favorite because of it’s skyline view over Dallas. The weather on their wedding day couldn’t have been better with blue skies and mid-80’s temperature.

One memory that stood out from their wedding was their approach to the wedding cake. They decided not to get one because they’re not really into cake. So instead of having a full on cake, they had a tiny slice of cheesecake in private as a small nod to the wedding tradition. It was fun, and we laughed about the wedding traditions that can be silly at times.
